A very good quality mahogany serpentine front chest of drawers from the Chippendale period C.1770

With all the hallmarks of a first rate cabinet maker, this chest has blocked bracket feet, red wash to the base, thick mahogany veneer and  drawer linings in oak.
The handles are the same model used by Gillows in this period and along with its overall quality, it makes it likely that their workshops made this chest.
